What you’ll need:

• A home printer
• A4 paper or card (recommended 120–160gsm)
• A stapler
• A ruler or bone folder (optional, for a crisp fold)

Step-by-step:

  1. Open your booklet file in Canva

  2. Edit then Click Share → Download

  3. Select PDF Print

  4. Open the downloaded file on your computer

  5. Print using the following settings:

    • Paper size: A4

    • Print on both sides

    • Flip on short edge

    • Scale: 100%

  6. Fold the printed pages in half to create an A5 booklet

  7. Staple along the centre fold or tie with ribbon

We recommend printing one test copy before printing the full quantity.

Margins and spacing have been carefully designed to allow for home printer variation.
